SS Hood Grill

My buddy has got an aftermarket SS hood (Suncoast I believe) on his 94 Z28. Some douchebag decided to steal the plastic grill out of the front of the scoop. Whoever it was pried it out with minimal damage, but still that's dick. My question is does he need that piece? It's a functional hood so I was just wondering about water and debris getting in and whatnot.

Not really, assuming he's kept the original screen further downline in the intake (in the throttle body, I think). But the grill looks nice. Easy to replace.

We have the ones for 98-02 at Year One Inc. but not for the 93-97. I don't know unless you tried F-Body Motorsports at 7044940005. They should have one new or used.
