I recently had 3.73s installed in my a4 z28. I babied it for awhile, but while beating the shit out of it I noticed it revs real high before it shifts and kinda stays there for awhile before shifting, almost like the transmission is slipping. Is this because of the higher rpms of the new gears causing it to hit the rev limiter? Should I change my shift points? Also under hard acceleration I'm getting some wheel hop which I never had before, currently I only have subframe connectors and a stb. How can I eliminate that? Thanks for any help.

Sounds like you will need to change your shift points. Your PCM could be set to shift at particular speed, rather than RPM. What tuning software do you have?
If you willl go to the suspension and handling section, you can find many threads about wheel hop elimination. Do a search on LCAs (lower control arms), torque arms, and relocation brackets. That should give you some food for thought.
Best of luck.

I dont have any tuning software yet, but I know my speedo is way off now. Will any tuner work or are some better than others?

Research in the Computer and Tuning section for that answer. Opinions vary, and the choice is yours. Having used both a handheld and a computer-based tuner, I recommend the computer (laptop) based systems.
Best of luck.
Yes, any will correct your speedometer.

this is why you are having shifting issues. you haven't changed the gear ratio in the computer yet. shift points are determined by rpms and mph. right now, they aren't matching.
