I don't have the instruction book for this HU, so I thought I'd ask here.
Where exactly does this wire hook up? Is it possible to just ground it?
Thx in advance

go to the manufacturers web site. they have instruction manuals available for download for usually the last couple of years worth of models.

Ya I tried that, so I gotta remove my console to install the parking brake lead? That really blows.

theres a bolt with a screw on it sticking out the back, you have to secure a wire to it and tighten the bolt down over it.

some manufacturers you can just ground to anything. some need a sequence to activate the tv, such as pull and release parking brake 2 times and then set it. in that case you will have to go to the brake. or you can wire a toggle switch inline, simulating the parking brake and toggle it as needed.

Just ground will work on this radio. We sell the avx2 and ground it out all the time

Can you post some pics when you have it fully installed. I am curious to see how this headunit looks in the dash of a Camaro.

Thanks

Thx for the replys, and I will post some pics when I have it installed.
I'm waiting for a few more items before I can start the install, so it will be a week at least.
