I bought the 17x10 OZ wheels that were on special YEARS ago from this site.
What's the biggest sized tire someone has used with a stock rear suspension?
I have 275/40/17, but want to go 315? anyone know if they'll fit?

Thanks.

With correct offsets and perhaps some BFH, 315 shouldn't be a problem, lots of people run that width with no real modifications to the wheelwell.

yep that should fit, depending on the wheel offset, sometimes a spacer is needed.

315 would be too wide for those rims, I wouldn't put more than 295 on a 9.5" rim.

You need to go over to the performance handling section and look up the moderator-Eugenio SS-He's got photos of his car with 315s on all 4 corners! He lists wheel offsets and tire types and sizes. He says no rub issues-looks really cool.

Will 275's fit on an 8" wheel safely?

nope. You could maybe squeeze a 275 onto an 8.5" wheel, but even that would be pushing it.

they're 9.5", which is the ideal rim width for 275's
