I am in the process of doing heads/cam stall and gears and I'm wondering what brand of stall to go with, with the size of my cam I'm going with at least 3600 and I'm leaning towards a vigilante. They have a two year warranty and a free stall adjust. Any info about them or other converters would be greatly appreciated.

Im leaning towards the VIG too,Im not doing heads and cam so Im just going with a 3200stall,The VIG I hear stalls higher so I think a 3600 will be good for you it will probably stall more around 4000,I only hear good things about VIGs and Yank so I dont think you can go wrong with either,I might end up getting talked into a 3600SS Yank before its over with, The only negative thing Iv heard about VIGs is they dyno lower than other converters whether its true or not I dont know but with a stalled auto you go by track times not dyno numbers, and I have seen on these forums alot of low 60ft times and good 1/4mile times with the VIG so unless some1 changes my mind or I get a great deal on a Yank I will probably be going with a VIG, What gears are you going with in your car?I got 3:73s about to go in.

I'm going with 3.73 gears also, I already have a 150hp shot of nitrous so I should see some good numbers. I ran 11.80 last year with a bone stock camaro with just nitrous. I think I'm going to go with the vigilante 3600, It seems this will match nice with my cam 237/242dur .603-.609 with a 112lsa

:yup: 3600-3800 which ever will be great with that set up. but dear lord with the funny juice, make sure and get a shift kit and a tune for the shift points or :bomb: goes your engine.

Yeah right now I am running a timing tuner with the window switch, shutting of nitrous between shifts, I plan on getting a dyno tune and a transgo shift kit!
