Chrome? Does it slow ya?

Does Chrome really slow you down much?
I want to throw some 18's on my TA but i am worried about my car being slowed down a lot.
If chrome will really deduct from my speed I am probably going to go with some black rims

Yes, but not by much. I love my 18" chrome zo6s. Wouldnt change them for the world. I still have the stock 16" for track days.

weight slows you down... but the chrome is pretty negligeable, especially considering the wheel will be roughly 20lbs if not more, and the tire ~25-30lbs. a few onces of chrome won't really make a big diff.

u can go with polished aluminum rims also, the look of chrome and lighter

not for me. i've been with chromes for most cars i had.

Plus the polished aluminum wont peel after a few years.
