when i think custom consoles, i think of high-gloss plastic for imports. What are you looking to do?

one thing i have wanted to do is find a way to continue the console back to the rear seats between the buckets. always thought that would be cool.

that might mess with the the way the back folds down. though. i aggree, the carpet between the seats is kinda lame.

I was thinking about the center console where the shifter is located. I have no use for the cup holder. I feel like i'm "monkey shiften", when a beverage is there. I was thinking of adding another ashtray but larger for possibly some gauges, or a housing for satellite radio or something. Trying to keep the stock theme as much as possible

fiberglass a single gauge cup in, then drill out the bottom to run the wires. I've been thinking about it for awhile, just to get rid of the temptation of trying to put a drink there and shift around it. It pisses me off every time. It would need to be a gauge that didn't require constant monitoring, such as a nitrous pressure gauge, volt gauge, or something to that extent.

ahh the beauty of the automagic transmission. gives you the ability to enjoy a nice chilled beverage. i think it would be sweet to see a touch screen added in the mix somewhere.

I always wanted to have a touch screen In-dash LCD/DVD/NAV system, and link it to a corvette style heads up display. I'm sure someone has already thought of it, but navigation in a HUD would be great, not that I'd listen to its silly directions though...

Yes, I did it myself so labor was free. Parts were not much, aside from the HU itself. I love it! It is a really clean look and truly updates the interior look and feel of the camaro.

This kenwood unit (ddx-6019) unit has Satellite Radio, Ipod Control, Navigation, Bluetooth (All sold as add on modules) and offers built in DVD, CD, AM/FM and is a 7" touchscreen.

I had to custom make mine, but I am thinking about producing them for others, based on the time and materials, it would be around $225.

Ill take one, what exactly is the custom part? Did you have to make the entire face plate custom (like the vent and hvac coverS)

The customized part is the opening for the radio itself.

I am sorry, but $200+ is a little too steep. I would have to see more. Whats it look like behind the panel. Don't get me wrong, it looks cool!

A friend works on auto interiors and he was able to spray a finer texture, more like factory, unlike the autzone stuff. He also color matched it to the interior.

The backside of the panel is identical to the factory. All I have done is alter the radio opening. I can take pictures of the back, but why?

But why, because I am pretty handy when it comes to doing stuff like that. I want to see if it is more complicated of a task that I could handle. If it is to complicated then yes,I would pay you $200+.
Am I wrong for asking. No
