C6 brakes on a f-body

I have a buddie with a 05 C6 that want to sell me his complete brake system because he's going with z06 brakes. I want to know what is needed for an install? any kits available? Has anyone done this before? Is it worth it? Will i notice a difference? Will they clear 17" ZR1's? or can this be done? I havnt found anything on this yet.
It will be going on my 01 camaro ss and i can get a very good deal on these!

I think they would be better suited for me with the smaller brakes I have.
If you deciede you dont want them Ill galddly take them for an upgrade to my 97.
From what I can remember the C-5s used basicly same calipers as F body.
I dont remember much changing on the C-6.As far as clearance why dont you trial fit a wheel on his car before he removes.Im serious about needing stuff to upgrade mine.
