theft lock light?

Hey i bought a iPod connector kit and i have to unplug my factory radio and disconnect the battery. and i have the cd player radio with the little theft lock light. so does this mean when i reconnect it i'm going to have to put in a code that i have no idea wat it is?

If you don't know the code and theftlock is activated yes, it'll lock the radio. Never bothered putting a code in mine. Instructions on how to obtain the code are here on the site somewhere. Sooner or later you'd have to disconnect the battery for something anyway.

i've put in a new battery before though and the code thing didn't come up i'm just worried if i disconnect the radio i won't be able to get it back
