i have a 2000 a4 trans am im upgrading to 3.73's there on the way now. my question is what rpm will i be at 60 mph like crusin on the high way. with the stock gears its at like 1800rpm at 60 what would i be lookin at with the 3.73's. i already have a 3200 stall which kills my gas but i dont care im addicted to speed.
thanks

Go to www.f-body.org/gears/ I posted in the other thread, change the 3.23 to 3.73, then hit calculate. Stall won't hurt you on highway mileage since at speed it's locked.

hey thanks i did the calulations and it said with 3.73's it was at like 2100 rpms instead of 1700 rpms with stock to me that dosent seem like a big diffrence. will it make that big of diffrence in proformance?

Only thing u will see a difference is,how faster your car will move and your gas goes down :shower:
