Transmission Fluid?

I'm getting ready to change the fluid in my M6. Anything special I need to know? Is it okay to use Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF? Do I need any additives? Thanks guys.

Don't need any additives. Some people notice a difference with synthetic and some dont.
some say it makes it worse. OF my 2 Camaros, I have only put regular ATF in it.

I was under the impression that unless something was leaking or not working right, you never had to change the tranny fluid in a manual car. At least thats what the owners manual says. My car has about 32k miles on it and still drives/shifts great. Should I change the fluid anytime soon?

I changed mine just for piece of mind. shoot a good synthetic atf for like 9bucks and you get better protection and supposedly better gas mileage. it only holds 4 quarts and takes 30 min.
