where can I get SOM paint for my calipers?and what is the steps on painting them?

You can buy most any GM color at the dealer, under a special order, in small aerosol cans.
Go to your parts desk & see if the person knows what you're looking for. If they don't, tell them 12346549. But don't give it to them right away. Test'em first.
You can also get a clearcoat, 12345119, & even a primer 12345117.

Will regular off the shelf paint work?, wont it crack due to the heat?

when you primer, use a high heat primer and a high heat clear coat.

Ok so I went to the chevy dealer this morning and gave them the 12346549 number first he had no idea. then turns out to be that 12346549 is the code for a small brush tuch up paint... he then said he can get me a 5 oz SOM spray for 15.00, but he didnt recomend it for calipers since its not high heat resistent.he then dirrected me to nappa auto parts, but I had no luck there:(what should I do?
