There was a video floating around the net for a while of them racing. The Viper wins in the video, and at first I was suprised. I figured with the exact same HP rating, the 400 lbs lighter car would win. Then after I thought about it a while, the Vette needs to rev to make that HP, where the Viper doesn't and probably has a wider powerband. Either way, the difference can't be by much. They are both solid 11 second cars.

The only video that I've seen (has been out on the net for a while) is a regular C6 against the Viper. It was made in England and consisted of three drag races and racing around the twisties. The Viper beat the C6 in the drags and the driver of the Viper kept the C6 from passing in on the road course.

Really? The guy that showed it to me on his computer said it was a Z06. Figures, since he owns a 94 viper!

I heard that will be a s/c LS7 for 100k..............I think that would be gay. That is like paying 40k just for a supercharger. If they want to charge that much, make it way better than the Z06 in every way.

Very few true C6Z06 vids around, doubtful there is one running a viper. The only one i saw for sure is one running the quarter against a look alike Z but was a plain C6 with mods. The Z was black and the C6 was yellow. The Z lost but in the vid where he ran the car alone he was a horrible driver, losing at least a tenth on the shifts. I think it ran 12.0 at 123 or 124.

the blue devil isnt jus a supercharged z. its gonna be a very rare american supercar. regardless of the 40 k increase. expect people to buy it in spades.
