Monsoon amp with amplified aftermarket deck?

I have a 02 ta with a monsoon sound system, i want to change out the Head unit and put in a good pioneer cd deck BUT i want to keep using ths factory amp to power the speakers. Im not sure if you can use a cd deck with a built in amp with a cars factory amp. Does anyone know if i can do this? My friend told me that there is a passthrough i can use, if anything id rather not use the decks amp and just the factory but im not sure if that is an option.

I don't know what your friend is talking about. The POS Monsoon HU is amplified and it feeds it's output to the speaker level inputs of the POS Monsoon amplifier so I don't see what difference it will make. It will be the same thing, only different.
