Big Time Newbie here

Hadn't had a Vette since my old 81 .....so sold the 94 Trans Am.....picked up a really nice 86 Vette. C4's are a bargain these days.....this one is one owner/garage kept...and 80K.....very very clean and well maintained.....yes that equates to 4K per year.....weekend cruises and car shows is about all this old fella did in it.....So I'll need advice on metric crescent wrenches and muffler bearings and the such.....wonder what oil I put in it? HHmmmmm :)
So you hardcore vette guys please take it easy on me...and I need to go change my response in the "Are Vette owners snobs?" string now...

Shit guys...I got a new Mercedes....the GTO...a new G6 Pontiac...the Dodge R/T....What I need a "new" Vette"? Hell no...I like tinkering and working on these things....what did I have the Trans Am for like 1 month ....tuned her up...cleaned her up and doubled my money and went and bought this thing...
Just for shits and giggles....she really runs nice...rides great....just a toy...

LOL....GTO is wicked powerful with the 408/4L65E...but yes...I am guilty of probably "talking shit" :)....but we put it to the ground at over 600 RWHP so he aint gonna run away from me that's for sure...
