Ok, im buiulding a 6.0L for my Sonoma GT, and want to run a 4 in stroker crank, 4.030 bore flat tops and 6.125 rods. I have a set of stock brand new LS6 heads and will be sparaying the engine with a 150-200 shot of gas.
My queston is, whats the best cam, i was thinking a atock 405 horse LS6 cam, and then the LS1 Hot cam from GMPP? Im leaning towards the hot cam, also i will be tuning the PCm with HP Tuners.
oh, and it will be auto with a 3500 stall and 4.10 gears, 26 or 28 in tall tire.
Thanks for the help.

Lots of great info there, thanks for the help.
I think im going to go with the Hot cam, and leave the stock LS6 heads i have unported, just upgrade the valvetrain, and put bigger valves in them, also going to run 1.85 comp rockers.
Thanks again for the help.

you may want to call one of the performance shop sponsers on this board and get some advice. Some cams will work better with juice then others.

this cam is not the best for that application, you should call the cam company and get their opinion for what your exact needs are and they will either recommend one that they use and some custom grind cams for certain applications........fwiw
