How long have you had the stage 3 in the car?
Myn has gotten better with each mile (250) but the petal is hard.
I might go with the new LS7 clutch and pressure plate. I still might change myn out. I do not like the hard petal.

I run a RamPower Grip HD with the 300series disk. It has held up well beyond my expectations. I run Nitto DR's and a healthy dose of Nitrous often. Zero chatter and about the same pedal stiffness as your Spec 3. This clutch drives like stock to me. I did run the Spec 3, great holding power but got tired of the "on/off" engagement and chatter.

Hah I didnt know either!

I remember Textrailia(sp?) making a decent clutch. I have the LS6 clutch and its lasted along time, but I wouldve gotten something better.

LS7/LS2 clutch & flywheel setup. I have around 380 RWHP, and the clutch feels like a stocker.

BTW...Fred Beans in PA usually has a great price on the LS7/LS2 setup

I just bought the LS7 set up from Fred Beans. I also bought the 2002 Slave and throw out bearing. I am hopeful that I can get it all installed next week.
I like the Spec3 and if I was 18 to 30 years old it would be the nut!
I am 40 and want the soft petal and no jumping up and down on normal driving. If you like the 2000rpm launches at every stop light then buy the Spec 3. I will let you guys know how it all turns out when the install is done.

Mcleod single/kevlar. No chatter, leaves rubber on road in 4th!

cannnot I not just go with resurfacing my Ls1 flywheel and using an Ls7 clutch and buy a new master/slave (which ever you do the drill mod too)?
