diagnostic help

new to the whole FI vehicles. Just bought a impy SS, and some obdII code reading/datalogging equipment. (ELM stuff) to check trouble codes and such. Looking for basic info as to what all the parameters mean, what they do, what is normal, and how to fix problems. any guides/suggested reading?

i'm sure i will once i get some time to play with it, but just basicaly looking for info on how to intepret what all the sensor data means, and where to look for problems from there. ie. what is normal and what isn't.
