dumb question about catch can

so do you hook up the pcv hose to the catch can or the one that comes from the valve cover? i have a 2001 z28 dont know if different years are different

no help? i am wondering because when i put on my whisper lid i noticed oil in the bellows so i cleaned them and the maf,but i noticed that there was oil coming into the throttle body from where the hose that comes from the valve cover hooks up.....i am gonna change the P.C.V. and see if it helps....

Both...you're putting it in-line. So like with mine I have the hose coming from the PCV on the lid of the catch can....and on the side of the can I have the vacuum hose going to the intake manifold. That way as the oil is sucked into the can it drops to the bottom and the air with no oil is sucked out the side to the manifold.
