im doin a tuneup on my monte carlo...it has the 4.4l 267ci 2bbl v8 in it...does anyone know where i can find the information for the recomended gap for the spark plugs?? thanx guys:)

besides all my years of experience, look for the emissions tag usually on the radiator support. it tells you the engine size and what plug gap back then.

no i believe u..i was just wondering..ill check for the hell of it, cant hurt...

in some years it was .045". you never know, i could be wrong. hell, cadillac had the gap at .060" in the early 80s.

yea i checked the manual on sat and it said the gap was actually .045...appreciate man

thanx man...but thats from 83-88...mines a 82...wish i had a ss...cant find too many good deals on em though
