Edelbrock shocks and Eibach Question

I recently bought the IAS Shocks and coil-overs for my '01 SS to compliment the Eibach Pro springs to try and get rid of the sloppiness of the stock shocks with the new springs. I had always heard good things about the IAS shocks but the rears don't feel any better than the worn stock shocks. I haven't gotten into any other suspension mods yet so I am wondering will anything else help with what seems as way too soft dampening or do these IAS's not work as well as they claim. The front coil-overs seem nice although I need to raise the car up a little, but don't know what to do. Go with a more aggressive rear shock or adj. type or go with a fimer spring. Any help and insight would be greatly appreciated.

you really need to get shocks that match the springs... I have no clue how the damping properties of the given shocks are.
I strongly suggest you talk to Sam @ www.stranoparts.com about it... he might have detailed information about those shocks and why they work/or don't.
and if anything, point you in a direction that will suit your needs.
I would think about getting other shocks... maybe some bilstein revalved.

you can akways change your rear springs to match the shocks (eibach)

I've got the same system on my SS. Mine's doing the opposite of yours. My front end is real loose and boats around after hitting even the slightest dips in the road. But the rearend stays planted and seems to respond as it should.

As for the Pro-Kit springs on the back. If you order their entire kit, thats what they end up sending you.
