I am about to lower my car 1.2 inches on all 4 corners, and I've been looking into some 18 inch C5 rims which are 18x9 OR 18x9.5. I dont want to spend the money and waste my time if the lowering springs/wider rim/tire combo will cause some rubbing up front. Anyone know how wide of a tire we can get by when also lowering? The car is a 98 TA, non WS6 if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance gents,

Shaun

I have BMR springs, which drop a lil over an inch. I run 18x10.5s out back with no problems. I think 18x9.5s up front would work just fine as well. :)
