Monsoon Question

I have an 01 t/a with the monsoon without the cd changer in the rear and was curious if all t/a`s with the monsoon were wired for the changer whether they came from the factory with or without it. Bottom line... is the wiring and connector already in the "trunk" even though it was not factory equipped with the disk changer??

Should be a connecter under the drivers side panel, probably taped to the harness so it wouldn't rattle. Mine didn't come with the rear changer and has the connector.

Got my changer from the salvage yard, $100. Hooked it up, the HU recognized it and been fine ever since. I had no previous changer either and had to look a little for the wiring. Sure is nice now on the cross country trips with 12 CDs loaded.

Yes it is!!!!!!!!!!!!! Under driver side rear panel.

Thanks so much....got my 2001 WS6 on Halloween of 2004 and it came with a pretty decent stereo that is not hooked up with the steering wheel controls - but I hate it. So I bought the factory Monsoon off of ebay so that I can bring it back to stock.
