Hello, I just bought a 04 Corvette, it has a GMS mass airflow sensor, K&N air intake and Magnaflow exhaust. The check engine light comes on, OBD code lean bank 1 and 2. Will a computer programmer correct the lean condition? Can it also turn off the 1-4 shift? [6 speed manual] Any brand preferences? Thank you for any help.

yes they can. just depends on what you buy. if you are looking for a handheld, then the vinci tuner IMO is the best oen out there with the predator right behind it. if you are willing to learn how to do your own tuning, then hptuners, ls1edit, efilive are ones to think about.
BTW, i have the vinci tuner for sale in the part for sale setion.

I have a GMS MAF sensor also, and I had to tune the PCM. The factory MAF table (which is MAF flow vs freq.) is way off for the GMAS. I know exactly whats wrong, Your LTFTs have gone to the max for fuel correction and that has not been enough. If I remember correctly that would +20% (but it could be +25%). You need to raise the line by at least 20% from low freq to about 7000Hz, then you need to tapper off so that the increase is only about 5% at the higher frequencies.
I use LS1Edit to do this, but HPTuners will do it also. You need to buy or have someone with a "full tuning software" do this. The cheaper handhelds, I think, are not fully capable.
