I realize that you need a 4.000" Bore and 4.000" Stroke for a 402 setup and a 4.030" Bore and 4.000" Stroke for a 408, both with a 6.125" connecting rod.
When buying a LQ9 Block with a 4.000" x 4.000" setup how do you get to 4.030" x 4.000"? Do you have to resleeve or can you just simply bore 0.030" over? To my understanding the LQ9 is the exact same setup to a LS1 other than the LS1's 3.898" bore and aluminium construction. Are all of the sensors the same and would I have any problems transplanting it into an F-body? Am I correct or am I all FUBAR'd?

No sleeving will be needed for .030." over.

Bingo.
Simple bore. Wouldn't go higher than .030 over though.

Thanks for the input on the boring. I was hoping that is what the case would be. What about the differences between LQ9 and LS1?

LQ9 is a iron block from a truck....LS1 is an aluminum block....you can bore the iron with less space between the cylinders than you can an aluminum block...
