Hi Guys, Just a quick update on the C5 twin turbo system. Our head tech just dyno tested the twin intercooled twin turbo system with high flow rear mufflers (APS developed rear mufflers which will be released in early 07) and after a little tweaking on the engine tune the stock ZO6 engine produced 640 rwhp and 622 rwtq at just 9 PSI boost on 93 octane fuel. Now I'm not entirely sure how durable the stock ZO6 engine will be at this power/boost level though it certainly shows that there's plenty of power potential in the little 346 cube engine.
Stock Power and Torque vs APS C5 twin turbo Power and Torque.

Congrats! That's pretty impressive although I would agree that longevity may become an issue.:yup:

nice numbers, would this twin turbo system be easily installed on a '99 TA?.. is it technically feasible and how much labor is involved. a bulk price is appreciated too. PM if necessary.
Thanks

ThanksThe C5 twin turbo system won't fit the TA though there will be a twin turbo system in the future that should suit the TA body. A twin turbo system is being designed for the F body and hopefully will also suit the TA. :)

wow... great numbers.... at 640rwhp... im sure the motor would last about
4-6 months of hard driving.... you really need to go forged....
but just think.... a nice little forged 346 with good heads and 700rwhp
on 9-10psi should be had..... or 800rwhp at 12psi!!!!
but why such a drop in torque? it looks like the kit is holding its boost well thatnks to your new mufflers! but only holding your peak torque for 1,000rpm
stinks.... any ideas?

Agreed................. A nice forged lower comp 346 with cam and heads would produce awesome power for sure, all good. :yup:
