dont know about hp gain but it sure will sound louder
Forget about horse power for your car. just drive it until you can upgrade to an LSX vehicle.

I'd suggest maybe a cutout instead.

put a flowmaster on your car with no cats and keep the stock manifolds

A cutout after the cat will sound better than with no cats. If anything just get a high flow cat with a magnaflow. I think pacesetter makes some headers for a v6.

Reason why I ask is becasue im trying to get rid of a rattleing noise my car makes when it gets to about 3 rpm

hmmm i dunno if that has anything to do with your cat, but then again V6's usually just sound kinda :sillyme: no offense i had one...

Yea i already fixed the problem, instead of putting up a converter back on and instead of the test tube I put up something called a turbo tube. I wasnt getting enough backpressure thats why it was making that rattleing sound and the turbo tube gave me backpressure. But it made me car quieter what can i do to make it a little bit louder

isnt backpressure controlled by the size of the exhaust valves?????? im confused, i see cars at the strip with open headers all the time
