Well, I went to the track tonight....and it was good and bad. (Bud Park 2200ftASL) I was SOO pumped to try and run 1000 psi in my bottle with the new bottle heater. I figured with 1000 psi, I'd take 2 tenths or so off putting me at 14.5 ish. My previous best run was done with only 850 PSI in the bottle and I wound up with a 14.79.

Well, turns out the shop I had install it for me, didn't do it right, because the bottle heater didn't work at all! And even worse because it was only 9 degrees celcius out my bottle was sitting at 650 PSI, and there was nothing I could do to get it back up. BUT, because there was absolutly no humidity in the air + the really cool air = my best run ever: a 14.593 @ 96.86 with a 2.408 60'.
It was my worst 60 of the night, I spun off the line, and then spun a little when I shifted into second. None the less, I am SOOO pumped! :woot2:
I'm going to try and get the bottle heater fixed this week and go for the last run of the season, and try for a very low 14. Amazing night! Man I love the cool autumn air!!

Yea I sprayed for it. I can't wait to see what 1000 PSI will do for my times! I've really gotta get that bottle heater working! :yup:

It's awesome too, because I'm at 2200 feet above sea level, my times still look a little slow. I go to the track all the time with my friend who owns a 97 Trans Am WS6 6 speed, with a hooker catback and a computer tune (basically a little bit of advance and cooling fans coming on sooner). His best run is a 14.4X @98 mph, and mine is the 14.5 @96. I'm replacing the bottle heater tomorrow to run for the last time of the season on friday with 1000psi, to try and blow my previous best time out of the water. I've got my fingers crossed!
