Chrome or Polished?
I'm getting some TTIIs for my '02 trans am. What backspacing or offsets should I get? I'm looking at these:
Front: +46mm offset / 7" backspacing
Rear: +45mm offset / 7.75" backspacing
I tried my brother's ZR1 rims, the 17 x 11 ones for the rear on my car. They had +50mm offsets. They barely fit, no spacers. But, going around corners they rub. I was thinking of getting +25mm offset / 7" backspacing. That would bring them out about .75". I'm just not sure that wouldn't put them rubbing my fenders. Any thoughts?

You don't have to custom order your wheels. American racing has a set specifically for our cars.

Do yours rub any with the 7.75" backspacing on the rears?

What tires are you running on yours? Brand and size? :P Thanks for the help...that pic looks good.

No. They don't rub at all. The fastest I've been since I purchased them was 130 and didn't have any problems. The fronts are the stock 275-40-17 F1 Goodyears and the backs are 315-35-17 Sumitomo. The Sumitomo are a lower end tire but the still work pretty well.

Are those Chrome or Polished Aluminum? I think our WS6's had polished Alum?

Polished. I don't know if they offer a chrome option for the TTII. If they do buy it. Chrome is a lot easier to take care of than polished.

I don't know if they are available with gray centers or not. I've seen a off brand offered for sale at Discount Tire with gray centers. You could always paint them if not.
