I have $500 down on a 68 RS camaro. If all goes well I will get it tomarrow .Body done right but the 327 in it is a pig. It has air and a low gear for the rear end.(highway gear) 3 speed auto trans (t 350 I think ) I think I will pull the air. and put a MSD distributor and box on it to start. Long term a 383 stroker will be installed.

I looked for sooo long to find a 1967-69 Camaro in decent shape, and they were soo much money!!!
I am very happy with my LS1, buy I would probably give it up for one like that!

sploooooook!! i just lost it lookin at those pics....car looks mint..nice find...maybe lower it an inch or 2 :D otherwise im in love
It has air shocks in back . So I will need new springs up front . Or cut them

To lower mine I have a 2 inch blcok between the spring and Shaft, and the front coil has been compressed some.
As far as the headlight doors, it probably is a vacuum issue, they did have trouble with that in 68/69.
Mine quit working this year, but it was that the Brights floor switch shorted out. So I replaced it and am good to go. You can close them Manually.
Under a cover!!?!?!?! Heck, I put almost 100 miles on mine yesterday (Dec 16th). Here in Denver! :D :D
