quick question.. how does a firebird formula hold up agaisnt a WS6 or a camaro ss?

All the cars are the same, There is no real HP advantage one to the other.

a stripper model formula will be slightly quicker.
other than that, its a matter of who gets a better jump.

i beat a formula in my ws6 by like 2 1/2 links and my car is bone stock. and i have like 20,000 more miles than his car has.

aren't the formula's lighter than the trans ams, if so wouldn't that make them faster than a stock WS6 TA.

Technicoly if the formula was also a WS6 yes but not all engines dyno the same and so the small difference doesnt realy make a difference

the formula will be faster if it has the 3.23 rear end
if it has the 2.73 rear, the ram air should take it off the line.
either way, it comes down to who gets a better launch

it can go either way, i ve beat a WS6 and an SS but got beat by a Z28. it really comes down to the driver
