got beat by 02 SS

on my way home from work, i saw that black SS cruising and i passed him, he started to get close and i slowed down to my sweet spot 40mph and he came right next to me.. we punched (i was on second gear) we were dead even for about a few secs. then he slowy (no BS) pull on me.. by the time we hit around 100mph ( i didnt look at the speedo) he shut down and he was like 1 car on me.. i told him to race from a dig and at light we took off, i out launched on him and untill 70mph he was at my rear wheel and i shifted to 3rd and he again slowly pulled on me and this time we shut down at 110mph and he was like 1 to 2 cars on me.. i asked him if he was stock and he told me he got just lid and i said what year is it and he said 02.. i already knew it was 6 speed.
oh well.. it was a nice race.. and that dude knew how to drive..:yup:

yea im lost on your ride too. i raced a couple new GTs in my 98 T/A and i took them in the quarter mile no prob (i only race at the track) but i dont know about what would happen going to 100-110

sorry, forgot to mention.. i was driving my stang and my car is bone stock.. i was impressed how good he was passing me.. i thought we were gonna stay like that but sure LS1s are famous on top end.. i shifted to 4th and a couple sec. later he shut down.. if we would have keep going, i would say, he would have a good 10 cars on me.. i am happy at least i was close to him:D.. i will make sure not to race with LS1s from a roll and shut down at the top of 3rd.. cuz after that i am SLOW!!!!

i ran 13.43@102.38 bone stock at track.. my avarage times were 13.6@102mph..

even my air filter is stock :lol:

I heard a ls1 vette with a cut out and I was walking on a bridge looking at the water with my back turned. he came up past me and my girl and revved the shit out of it and almost made us shit our selves! That's why one's going on the SS!

I had to have a reason to get rid of the v6 before I got the ss. Now, if you think I need to do more mods faster, you can do a wire transfer of about $50,000 to my bank account any time you wish, just waiting on you buddy:yup:
