New paint job cant decide, hugger orange or blue

Im going to repaint my 2000 Z because the previous owner had a maco paint job done and its starting to peel off now.:cuss: I just cant decide between Hugger orange with wite stripes or blue metalic with wite stripes. What do you guys think. I am also going to get an ss hood and I am aware of how much this is going to cost me.

I know what you mean!!! My car right now is NBM and i think it looks "ok" if i did go with blue (and i think i might) it would have to be that exact blue!! I agree with FuriousGeorge that blue with black interior looks awesome. I just liked the orange cause back in the day a lot of muscle cars had the hugger orange with a black hood.

I have to agree with you Patriot! THose wheels are made by a company called Fikse and they are the FM/5's. Those are the perfect wheels ive been looking for, :love: but once i found how much they are i was like :eek2: they are about $900 to $1000 each for 18 x 9.5 depending on the finish you get. And actually the price has gone down a lot since i first looked at them a couple of years ago.

ive done a few sunbrust metallic paint jobs that look just so sweet on f-bodies and instead of white strips you can go a shade darker or lighter organe for a nice ghost effect flame like stripe with a little bit or white/silver pearl forsome highlights...sorry i go on and on bout sweet ideas...the blues really nice as well but again at leats do pearl white in the stripes....:) oh and paint the calipers the same color as the car really sets it off i think ...but thats me :)

They are Fikse FM5's im going to pick me up a set in 17s after i get back from cruise next year.

Personally I'm not a fan of Hugger Orange...its like flat orange, even when waxed up it doesn't have any real shine to it. If it was a metallic paint, that would be different.

My vote goes to the blue, not really a fan of the stripes though.
