I have a 220-224 .581 114 cl cam, with comp 918 springs rated to a .600 lift. I have a bigger cam i want to install 231-237 595. 112+2. was wondering thats close to the max lift for the springs. Has anyone tried something like this or have an opinion. Thank you.

if you have close to 20k on the spings, change them out for some dual springs

918's will be fine, but if you have a lot of miles on them a fresh set might be in order. Also, measure your installed height with a valve spring micrometer, the lift capability of the spring is a function of the installed height not just the lift.

Form what I have read when the 918's came out Comp rated them to a .625 lift then the 921's(there dual) came out and only would rate them at .650 lift. So Comp lowered the rated lift of the 918's to .600
I know people that run the 918's with .601/.605 lift cams and are fine. But they will have to change them out more often.
with that being said that cam will be fine with 918's
