Ive been looking to get a torque converter and have decided to go with TCI, but I got a few questions. first of all whats the difference between the street fighter and the super street fighter.also I was looking around for a 3500 stall which I found on WS6store.com for 768$ but if I go with a 3600 stall its about 200$ less. Why is that? If theres no difference except for the stall speed than ill just save the money. sound like a good idea?

the streetfighter is a 3000 rpm stall and the super is 3500rpm.
ls1speed.com generally has good prices.

i have the streetfighter and it drives flawless

I have a question, I was thinking of doing the 3.73 gears on my A4, I heard it will wake up the car. that will add 300rpm and the car will be accelerating faster..
... now to the stall converter.. what will a stall converter do? what is a good one for a daily driver but still pretty good at the track. I mean I don't want to drive 60 @3000 rpm and feel like I'm racing.. first off if you can explain what a stall converter is, and which one would I get for a daily driver..
Thanks so much..

go here for converter info http://www.converter.com/faqs.htm

if you want one thats a good daily driver, get the streetfighter 3000 rpm.
it drives like stock and will knock off .6 at the track.

the converter will lock up in overdrive at 40-45 mph. you wont be revving youre car high at all. doing 80 im like at 2200.

cool, thanks for info.. also does the 3.73 gear affect the top speed limiter.. I heard some people they top out at 130 .,. maybe they don't know what they're talking about?
I dunno...

Dont think Id spend that much on a TCI,not saying there bad converters just if your gonna spend around $700-800, Id look at the PI Vigilantes and Yank converters, There are many sponsors that carry TCI id look around at all of them for the best price.
