speaker upgrades

I want to upgrade the speakers in my 97.
Seems like theres not much room for a larger magnet in the rears.
Also want to upgrade power by adding an amp.
I still want to retain my CD with equalizer.

I had to get 1/2 inch spacers to install "normal" depth speakers in the rear. Otherwise, the top will close on the magnet and damage the speaker. I ditched my monsoon amp.. didnt run a new one but it sounds a lot better than it did before with the stock setup.

Does anyone have a Monsoon rear seat speaker they'd be willing to part with for a 99 Trans Am coupe?
