Does anyone know how much power the 502 viper engine can safely handle?

henessy puts a 1000hp to it with twin turbos...if your really interested id try writing them and see what they have to say

i've heard 1100hp..but i guess after 1000 shit starts to go to hell on people.

Yeah thanks for the feedback. I'm trying to find out how the svt cobra stands against the viper engine. I know the cobra block is good for 1000 hp but dont know anything about the 502 viper

it is. there are alot of terminators running 900 + crank hp

Why not?! or are you thinking of stock internals? There is a difference. The LS1 blocks can get close to (if not over) 1000 too, but you'd have to upgrade a few parts here and there, like bearings, main caps, bolts, girdle, etc.

yea is the cobra block as strong as the LS1 the ls1 being a 6 bolt main?

Funny; since it's been done. The 4v 03/04 engines are very stong. All forged goodies...stock. There are lot's of twin 57~67mm twin and single T76 cobras putting down over 800 tire on the stock engine (valve cover to oil pan stock).
