Passenger side all screwed up

Well guys, I got my car all put back together...finally after a year, everything appeared to work right. So I take her out to test her, and somebody merged into my lane while I was doing a buck thirty. DAMMIT!!! We hit, and this is what is broken:

Passenger side mirror
Fender needs to be buffed out
New front/rear C6 rim...custom painted black
New passenger side door
New 30th year aniversary decals...black
New rear fender.

Thankfully the guy didnt break the bumper or anything. I'm really surprised that I didnt completely lose control of the car...ending everything. I appreciate any help. Thanks

I dont know if he did or he didnt, I just know that we hit, and I'm very fortunate that the car damage is pretty minimal. So thats good. You live and you learn I guess. Well I guess now I have another project.

Well, I'm sure he didn't realize you were coming that fast, since nobody wants to get in an accident on purpose. But fuck it, we've all done dumb mistakes on the road I guess. Your lucky you have as minimum damage as you do. Were the police called? Who's fault did the insurance count it as?

I did pull over, waited for the other guy, but he didnt stop. So....if you want to call that a hit and run...sure.

That doesn't make any sense...if someone side swiped me i'd follow you to the end of the earth. I doubt you pulled over knowing you were going 130 and hit a car...that's instant jail time with the CHP and say bye-bye to your T/A. If you did run you better hope the person wasn't injured with even whiplash....can you say felony? If you get caught you're screwed...

Not trying to be hostile dude...but it's easy to be if you imagine yourself in the persons shoes that you hit. If someone did that to me i'd be pissed...even more so if I had a wife or kids in the car. Can you imagine how scared the other person was when all of a sudden a car sideswipes them going 130?

Anyway at least no one was hurt including yourself.

yea...doing 130 in the middle of traffic isnt the best thing to do...i had someone pull out in front of me one day...they were doing 60 and i was doing closer to 150...imagine trying to slow down in time to not completely asshole the other person...i mean talk about a donkey punch from hell...anyways...be glad your car isnt that bad...BTW...i have a passenger mirror for you $35 and you pay the shipping...mirror is black..all the brackets and glass are there zipcode is 28117

the man lives in cali.....the guy who hit him was probly uninsured and/or no lic. happens lots.....my wife rear ended this guy....he looked the the mirror and hit the gas....she came home and told me i was like its your lucky day i guess

Well I wont be able to talk to you guys for a couple of months. I am going underwater until right before christmas. Wish us a safe return home. If you dont hear anything on the news about the USS HELENA, then we probably made it back safe. Thanks and god bless.
