i am growing tired of the smallish look of the stock 17" ws6 wheels (that's smallish in 2005 terms:)). i am thinking 19" would be a good fit and would modernize the look somewhat. however, i did a search on 19" and nothing turned up. anyone rolling this large? i hope it's not just the Mustang and 350Z/G35 guys...let's see some pics!

ill be lowering the car, after i get the full exhaust in it, want to do that before lowering so i know i have no clearance issues, anyways, i have 275/35/19 in front, and 275/40/19 in rear. no rubbing issues, no modifications.

Those look freakin bad!!

I'd say ideally though would be 18s. It's all personal preference though. Get what you like.

The 19's look very nice...thanks for the posts.

Any idea the specs on the HP's (?) Those look like about what I have in mind. I like the nice wide lip and the gunmetal finish. I wonder if I will have to roll the well lip for wheels with that wide of a lip?

Don't hate on the 19's.....will be saving the 17's for the race tires:)

absolutely. i had it done a few years back. had to ship the rims to CA though. cost about $125/EA for 16" including shipping.

i don't mind the 19's if you tuck them in there with a body kit. but i'd definally say 18's max or 17's and lowered.

The real disadvantage of 19's is the rubberband tires necessary to maintain the rolling diameter. 275/30/19 is a direct fit....but not much sidewall to absorb the bumps:(

I still think 17's look too small on such a long/wide car.

I guess overall that 18's are probably the best compromise.

I just don't like the TA having the smallest wheels in my garage even though its the largest car....

that convertible is Tony's car I think and I love what he did to it... looks great.
19 look great, if offset is right... otherwise, 18s is a good compromise as you said.
Just remember 1 thing... you brake distances will increase due to added rotational inertia... so you might consider a brake upgrade.
