I went to the track Sunday and went sixty ft 1.716 and 1/8 mile was 7.326. I have a transmission issue of slipping and not shifting. The car has Patriot heads, .585 lift cam, 80mm throttle body, 42 lb inj., slp mass air meter, 150 shot. I need to practice launching since it is a full suspension car on 16 M/T drag radials. It is getting closer.

your mph is very high to run only 8.34. If you go to the et listings that mph would put you at about a 7.10. I do have a stock gear and a transmission issues that were not helping out though.

Street tires, spinning through most of second, check the 60 ft. Should run low seven's with BFG drags and trackbite.

Thats sounds about right. I had tires and full suspension but the tranny wasn't taking it. I'll buy a vigallante convertor and have the trans redone and try next year. My friend that made the the double adj. lowers and torque arm and we both have strange 10 way adj. struts with 300 lb. springs. He sixty footed a 1.49 on slicks with skinnys and pulled the front wheel. He does have a chassis shop so he has experience.

Since a shitty 240sx rammed into side of my car, on the left rear end, the ass end wants to jump immediately to the right when she starts spinning. It is really irritating.
How do I go about getting it to launch straight. The rear end must be out of alignment or something. I got non-adj LCA's on her now, so maybe I need the adj ones so I can change the launch characteristics.

I think I would take the car and have a four wheel alignment. My friend does sell the double adj. lowers and the rest of the stuff. Have you looked to make sure the lca's are not bent or the brackets are not bent. you might also want to check and make sure the rear end is not bound up it may have tweaked the lower so the do not move properly.

Is he like the F-bod guru of Illinois or sumthin'?
I was rolling about 3500 rpm in second this morning and laid into it, as soon as it broke traction the ass end slid immediately. If I hold it to the floor she is real handful!

I am not sure about that, but he is does know a lot about how suspensions work and has never steered me the wrong way. I had a tubbed mustang with a 408 and he did the rear susp. it sixty footed a 1.32. My Trans Am goes straight as an arrow.
