On my driver's side, to the right of the driver's side window, right under the top metal panel that goes up and to the other side, I think its called the rear quater panel(?)

Anyway, just this small part next to the door, on the TOP of this quarter panel is fading beyond belief. Youd think I took my keys and just shook them onto the paint or some parrots got into an extreme orgy on this section. Real small scratches, swirls, but only on this ONE section.

What do I do? Get that ONE part painted?

I would try to buff it out first before having to repaint the whole quarter panel. If you don't have a buffer with a wool compound pad and a foam polishing pad a good detail shop or body shop could try to buff it out for you. If you do have one, try to start with some medium grit buffing compound on the wool pad, then finish with some polish on the foam pad. That should get it out unless you can feel it with your finger nail. Which means it'll be too deep to buff out and you will have to have it repainted.

Yeah I can feel the tiny ridges when I use my fingernail. :(

Bummer. Buffing will still help, but if your picky like me the only answer will be to have it painted. Be sure to pick a high quality paint shop if you do have it painted, I've worked at a bodyshop and have seen alot of hackers out there.
