mini tub

how's it goin everyone i just picked up a 94 z and i am going to be doing a good bit of racing. I will be running mostly stock in the sportsmans class next season while i am building up my stroker and tranny... I was thinking of gettign a narrowed 9" with 3.73 gears for now and wanting to run some m/t sportsman tires that are 29.00 in diameter and the tread width alone is 15.80 in.... my real question is how hard is it to mini tub an f body? Or anyoen got any useful info on other setups they have had good experience with?

This post is a million years old, but you won't fit anything with a 15" tread on a mini tubbed car, realistically the limit will be something around 12" tread .

That size tire will take a full tub and new frame rails to fit.
