I have had my 2001 Z-28 in storage for the last year. I have owned it since new, but have onlky driven it occasionally.
I shipped it to Germany and yesterday while driving on the Autobahn noticed it hesitates when I get on it at about 80-90 MPH.
It has done this in the past, and I changed the plug wires and it went away. The current plug wires have about4500 miles on them.
No codes have been thrown.

Thanks for the help.

Shipped to Germany? From the states? How much did that cost?

How old are the spark plugs themselves? Fuel filter? Any mods? Ever clean the MAF?

When you changed the wires, did you make sure they're on completely? They'll snap twice on the coil packs and once on the plugs IIRC.

My good friend had this exact same shit happen to his Z28. it ended up being his maf. He replaced it and not only did it solve the hesitation but if freed up some power, his car felt way faster, after. Probably, due to the fact that it wasn't running at its full potential b4.

It cost $972 to ship it, and 330 Euro to get it unloaded.

I have replaced the spark plugs, and the wires. I found a loose plug wire, and it now seems to be running just fine. Waiting for a nice low traffic Sunday to see if the speed limiter works.

Thanks for the help and suggestions.
