Just wondering if anyone knows the differences between these two? Does a stock SLP firehawk handle better than a stock WS6 Trans am? Please correct me if I am wrong but I thought the Firehawk came with a different suspension than the WS6. I know the hoods, air lids and exhaust are different but I'm not sure about the rest. I am new here so if this comparison has been posted recently I apologize. Thanks!

if you ordered the better suspension the hawk does.

Hey, I bought my 01 Firehawk new and before I did I test drove the Ram Air TA and I could not tell any difference compared with mine equiped with the Bilstien suspension. The car itself has done extremely well for autocross but sucks for drag racing, ( 6sp,540 hp and 580tq), No travel in the suspension. Hope this helps.

Thanks! I was going through some old posts and someone said all the ws6's from 00-02 only came with bigger rims and a thicker sway bar. They stopped using the heavy duty springs. So if you ordered the suspension package from SLP on the hawk it is definately better? Otherwise it's just the same as a TA?

from what i kno, all the firehawk really is, is lowering springs.. other then that, its sapposed to be lighter or somethin and with the lid and exhost, it has more hp.. but i think if you have the same shyt put on to the ws6, its faster. mainly the rarity value of the firehawk is what i see.
