I was just wondering if anyone knew what the difference was between the Non-RFG and RFG tuning?
Also what kind of tuning you all are running with these programmers?
I know that these are the best programers, but I just got it for $80 off a buddy of mine and wanted to see what it could do. If there are any other components that I might need to know about on this tuner I am all ears. Thanks fellas

Can't help on the RFG/NON RFG tuning differences. When I used one it was only for gear change/shift pressure (50%)/fans (160)/shift points. Never even tried the tune - you might want to stay away from it too with a MAFT, I'm sure the programs are based on a "stock" setup.

Rfg would use less timing i would think. The gas quality is just not nearly as good as non rfg.. So if you want more timing, i would select non rfg.

What does RFG mean?
Right Foot Govner?
I cannot believe hypertech doesnt tell you what RFG is...
They just expect everyone to know that?
One came with my car I have no clue about that, and i didnt see anywhere to set firmer shifts (50% 75% etc?), it was all just increase/decrease mph 1-2, 2-3, & 3-4 shifts.

Should be explained in their instruction booklet? Think it means reforumuated gas. The one I had years ago let me adjust shift firmness.
Edit: Just saw you have a shift kit - I'd leave the shift pressure alone. Did it ask you if you had a shift kit? Maybe that's why you don't see it.
