OK...here's the deal. I'm tired of looking around behind, in front, behind bridges, and at onramps for the police. From what I was told, they use a transmitter (to emit a signal) and GPS (to recieve the signal) to identify other police officers in the area. I don't know if it's illegal, but I'd like to monitor those GPS signals. Anyone know how or can give advice?

This is gonna be a well-kept secret until i stick my head in a parked cop car and read the brand name off their GPS.

Or you can buy a valentine and see where the arrows point.

Its not going to be as easy as just gettinga GPS reciever and tracking them. Each trasnseiver has its own ID and is programed to work with in a network. In order to find the police you would have to find the frequency of the GPS network then get the appropriate hard ware and sofware to track them.

Yeah, and neither is getting nailed for somone else having fun...
I'd like to know when I need to stick out as asn obviously slower moving vehicle, then blend in with other speeding cars.

Good luck with that one. F-bodies can be sitting still and appear to be a fast moving car.

Guess it's a double-edged sword...
Looks fast when parked as well as when moving; guess that's one of the reasons I bought mine.
