I got a ticket for having a license plate frame the same shape as that. On the standard Georgia plates it covers 2/3s of the registration sticker, month, and county. You could still see the color of the sticker, but the cop still wrote me a ticket, which ended up being $80 or so. It was reduced to a $25 fix-it ticket when I explained that according to the law it wasn't technically illegal and showed the lady pictures of over 200 "illegal" license plates found in a single parking lot on a saturday afternoon.

Like really bummed. The image on the back is SOOO blurry you can barely tell its an engine. :(

Things to keep in mind with Direct Printing
Colors are not as vibrant as Heat Transfer

I can allow the option:

Heat Transfer

Heat Transfer is as durable as screen-printing, but offers more detail. Heat Transfer uses heat to create a bond between the resin and the T-Shirt, locking the ink between the two layers. Heat Transfer has a slight plastic feel when first worn, however, this feel will diminish after washing.

The benefits of Heat Transfer
Vibrant colors - great for photos and detailed imagery
Good washability, fading happens over the first few washes

Things to keep in mind with Heat Transfer
May crack on ribbed garments
Has a slightly stiffer feel
Transfer outline may be visible with some designs
May yellow over time
