I have decided to bite the bullet and put some 06' ZO6 Calipers, Rotors and Hawk HPS pads on my SS. Cost of this upgrade will be about $900. I will be ordering the parts tomorrow, can't wait to get those baby's on my car.

i think you can get it on ebay but you will need a special bracket to accomidate the caliper but no modification to the master cylinder at all, but for the price mentioned i think the bracket comes included...the rotors are some big 12.8 inchers which i think will fit the stock 17s but not all of them...depends on the year of the car the 17s came in

Nice car! A couple questions,
Had you ever run HPS pads before?
What was the difference in braking after the upgrade?
(Feel, stopping power, fade)
Thanks, looks like you are ready for the roadcourse with those babies!

I run the HPS on the street.
For the track (road course) these pads fade after three laps to become (almost) useless.
I do swap out the rotors and pads (Hawk HT 14) for the track.

 like to see how this turns out. Are going to install just the front or the whole kit?
