I have a new LS6 block. I noticed around all the lifter bores and oil gallies there are small peices of aluninum on the edges from the machining process that can easily be knocked off. Any tips on how to get to all of them and prep a new block??? Should I really worry about them?

Any thing that you can break off with your finger.....as in the "flashing" your talking about would be in your best interest to remove it will only become softer and easier to flake off once it gets hot.

Any oil hole in the lifter vally area I would also radius which will aid in oil drain back......You want the oil to get back to the oil pan/ pump pick up as fast as it can!!!

JUST MAKE SURE WHEN YOUR DONE......WASH WITH HOT SOAPY WATER AFTERWARDS AND BLOW ALL GALLEYS AND BOLT HOLES OUT WITH AIR.:yup:

I would say use a deburring from J&L use it lightly. Or use a round duburing stone lightly.
