Coming home from work, I see this red LS1 SS coming up on me fast. At first he fly's by, but when the highway clears up he slows down and we are even with each other. I can't remember how fast we where going, but I do know that I was in third @4,000 RPM. I honk the horn three times, and I get the jump. I stayed about a 1 - 2 car links in front the whole time, then traffic hits... I did notice his exhaust was really loud, and he had dual, duals (looked like loud mouth?)... I was thinking about going with the loudmouth setup, but the 3" straight back seems to work for now... :flex:

hey, do you still have the stock single exhaust on your ss?

i had that on mine, if you get a dual put on, KEEP THE SINGLE

its very rare, and nobody knows that that was the base exhaust for the 98 ss's, i kinda wish i left mine on, but na, i love the sound of duals

I agree - i love seeing the single exhaust '98s. It is so rare and cool IMO.

Yeah, I still have the single! :) I purchased a used Flowmaster American Thunder system from eBay, but I decided to keep the single for now.. Maybe a Flowmaster 40 for the single? I'm not sure how that would sound...
